U.S.Actor James Caviezel Injured In Motorcycle Accident

Actor James Caviezel suffered cuts and bruises when a man hurled a bicycle into the path of his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, says the Washington State Patrol.

Caviezel, who portrayed Jesus in Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ," was injured Thursday afternoon.
Trooper Rich Magnussen says the actor was taken to Cascade Medical Center in this northcentral Washington city for treatment of cuts and bruises.

Magnussen also says the 40-year-old Caviezel, of Woodland Hills, Calif., was wearing a helmet, and that "it could have been a lot worse." The trooper says he doesn't know why the actor was in the area about 14 miles southeast of this city in north-central Washington.
There was no indication why the man tossed the bike into the path of Caviezel's 2006 Harley Davidson but Magnussen says mental issues may be involved.
Caviezel portrayed Jesus in Mel Gibson's movie. He was born in Mount Vernon, Wash.

  1. I think U.S. actor James is fortunate enough to escape with minor cuts & bruises. Another thing is that he was wearing a helmet at the time of accident which protected him from fatal head injuries. In fact more no of people are getting hurt or losing their lives in fatal motorcycle accidents these days. They can happen for a variety of reasons, and have as many consequences. Some merely cause a few scratches - on the car or to your person, while some are much more impactful - damaging your property and handicapping you - for a decent amount of time. Whatever may be the impact, determining the cause of an accident is an important part of settling an accident compensation claim. A personal injury lawyer will help you in this respect.
