Britain's Got Talent - Semi-Final 1--Susan Boyle

Britain's Got Talent - Semi-Final 1--Susan Boyle

Susan Boyle has considered quitting the British TV talent show

British TV talent show judge Piers Morgan said the 48-year-old spinster, dubbed the Hairy Angel, was struggling to cope with the pressures of fame after she reportedly unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade at the hotel where the contestants are staying.
Susan Boyle had even packed her bags Wednesday in preparation to quit ahead of the final of ITV's "Britain's Got Talent" show Saturday,Morgan said.
Writing on his blog earlier, Morgan - a former tabloid newspaper editor - described Boyle as a "frightened rabbit" and called for her critics to "back off."
He wrote, "Susan is finding it very, very difficult to cope, and to stay calm.
"She has been in tears many times during the last few days... she's had to read stories and columns, and listen to radio and TV phone-ins, calling her arrogant, insincere, spoiled, fake, mad and so on.
"Susan Boyle has never experienced anything like this and is like a frightened rabbit in headlights".
Morgan said Boyle had shown the weight of expectation on her shoulders during a wobbly performance last weekend.

Angelina Jolie Lead The Pack For Best Female Performance -Kristen Stewart says.

Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie is nominated for Best Female Performance at this year's MTV Movie Awards.Five women who gave five very different performances in five very different movies.
Angelina Jolie brought the action with her role in "Wanted," Anne Hathaway used her comedy chops to get nominated in "Bride Wars," and the drama queens — Kristin Stewart in "Twilight," Kate Winslet in "The Reader" and Taraji P. Henson in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" — are all going head to head to try and secure themselves a trophy.
lthough no one can be ruled out just yet, it seems less likely that Winslet will win for her role in the post-WWII drama "The Reader." And Hathaway might have been funny in "Bride Wars" battling Kate Hudson for her dream wedding, but the competition is stiff. Finally, Henson was nominated for an Oscar for her role in "Benjamin Button," but with Stewart and Jolie as the front-runners, she'll have a tough road.

Jessica Biel "freaked out" when she started filming 'Easy Virtue'.

In the movie Easy Virtue, actress Jessica Biel plays Larita, an avant-garde young American woman who takes the Whittaker family by storm when she accompanies her new husband, John (Ben Barnes), to his home.
The actress Jessica Biel grants she felt overwhelmed mixing with the British cast - which included Colin Firth, Kristin Scott Thomas and Ben Barnes - of the English period drama and worried she was out of her depth.
She said: "Stepping into the room for the read-through, I was freaking out. I'm the only American. I'm just sitting there feeling weird and out of place."I felt initially that I was really not prepared to be in this company."
By "this company,"Jessica Biel means Colin Firth and Kristin Scott Thomas, who play her in-laws in this period piece based on an early Noël Coward play. Biel plays an American race-car driver who impulsively marries their son (Ben Barnes). He brings her home to his crumbling English manor, and his mother takes an instant dislike to her. It's a tug-of-war, the free spirit versus the stiff upper lipped.
To prepare for her role as race-car driving newlywed Larita, Jessica watched lots of old movies to study classic Hollywood glamour.
