Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick welcome twin baby girls

"Sex and the City" actress Sarah Jessica Parker and her actor husband Matthew Broderick had twin daughters via a surrogate mother, the couple's publicists said on Tuesday.

Local CBS television affiliate WTRF-TV reported that Parker and Broderick were on hand for the birth of the twins at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry late Monday.
A spokeswoman for the hospital would neither confirm nor deny the report, which WTRF said came via sources close to the facility.
"Sex and the City" star Parker, 44, and Broderick, 47, already have a six-year-old son together, James Wilkie. The couple married in 1997.
Representatives for Broderick and "Sex and the City Star" Parker, were not immediately available for comment.
"The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon," the couple said in a statement.
